The provincial draws for the 2020 championship will take place next weekend across RTE Radio, RTE News Now and the RTE Website. Morning Ireland on RTE Radio 1 will spread the four draws out over a couple of days.
On Monday morning, Darren Frehill will make the draw for Leinster Football Championship, this will be followed on by the Connacht and Munster Championship draws on Tuesday. The draw for the Ulster Football Championship will take place on Wednesday morning. Again the draws will be made available if you have the RTE News Now channel.
RTE cameras will be busy again this weekend in the club championship with the national broadcaster set to show two live games from the Kilkenny senior hurling championship. On Saturday, they will show a double header from Nowlan Park, with Erins Own taking on Dicksboro with a throw in time of 3pm, this will be followed by Clare and Ballyhale Shamrocks at 4.45pm.
The sports coverage keeps on coming then in the following two weeks with a double header live from Parnell Park on Saturday 12th of October. St Jude’s take on St Vincent’s at 5.15pm, while Ballyboden St Enda’s take on Na Fianna. Both of these games are quarter-finals.
On October 19th then RTE will broadcast two games from the Kerry SFC, these games have still to be confirmed.
