Tottenham could receive an injury boast for their trip to Anfield. Here is the latest on the team’s injury issues.
Tottenham Hotspur injuries – Who could be available?
Eric Dier is expected to be ready for Tottenham’s trip to Anfield. The defensive midfielder suffered a leg injury in England’s 5-0 win over the Czech Republic. Dier could be used off the bench if he isn’t 100 percent fit.
Harry Winks could also return to Tottenham’s team. Spurs have been missing midfielder Winks for the last three weeks. Pochettino could get the midfielder back in time for Sunday’s game against Liverpool.
However, Winks’ hip injury could see him miss out once more as Tottenham prepare to face Manchester City in the Champions League.
Tottenham Hotspur injuries – Who is out?
Full-back Serge Aurier suffered an injury in the Ivory Coast’s win over Rwanda. Aurier isn’t expected to play against the Reds due to a hamstring injury.
Aurier is expected to miss several weeks due to the issue and will most likely miss Tottenham’s Champions League quarterfinal tie with Manchester City.
