Armagh v Tipperary, Sunday, 2pm, Athletic Grounds
Armagh and Tipperary will face off in the Division 2 football league on Sunday at the Athletic Grounds. A win for either side will drag them up the table further away from the relegation zone and I expect it to be a good encounter.

Armagh have been somewhat unlucky in the division so far playing three games they have drawn two and lost one, but they could have easily won two of them. Kieran McGeeney’s charges drew with Kildare 0-14 to 1-11 in Newbridge, followed that up with another draw against Colm Collins’ Clare 1-13 to 2-10 and then they lost two weeks ago to Meath 2-13 to 0-13 at Pairc Tailteann in Navan. Their opponents Tipperary have had a mixed bag of results from three games, winning one, drawing one and losing one. The loss came at the hands of Meath 0-15 to 1-08, the draw was with Fermanagh 1-05 apiece, while the win came against Donegal by 3-09 to 0-13.
Armagh will look to players like James Morgan, Aaron McKay and Mark Shields in defence once again. Stephen Sheridan and Niall Grimley are expected to continue their midfield partnership, while in attack,Rory Grugan, Stefan Campbell and Jamie Clarke are three superb forwards and anyone of the trio are match winners and Liam Kearns the Tipperary boss will be aware of this. Tipperary will look to Alan Campbell and Kevin Fahey in defence along with Jimmy Feehan who will likely start at wing back. Steven O’Brien and Liam Casey are likely to continue in midfield, In attack Conor Sweeney, Liam McGrath are three key players for the Premier men.

Armagh are favourites at 1/2 here with Tipperary 9/4 and the draw is 15/2. I expect Armagh to get a much needed win here.
